主题：赶时髦Depeche Mode---Dream on

组成于80年的英国音乐组合DepecheMode已经有廿年历史，由组成初期的Syn-Pop到今时今日的另类摇滚，乐队在音乐路线上改变不少。

早期DepecheMode的创作主脑是VinceClarke，离队后由AlanWilder入替，音乐风格便愈趋黑暗低调，亦渐渐由一队纯用电子音乐合成器的电子乐队过渡成一队加入结他弹奏的组合。

Depeche Mode之地位崇高，就算他们此刻不再位于流行尖端，也丝毫不受影响，因为除了音乐，他们的形像更标记着听者的时空归属，置身众家竞逐复古、Synth-Pop/Electro翻红的潮流中，Depeche Mode的先驱角色此刻便更加清楚。其中Dave Gahan作为Depeche Mode二十多年来的门面，他深具厄夜毁灭感的声音成为那不断冲刷的流行风潮里始终鲜明的景点，甚至启蒙了Nine Inch Nails与其后进Marilyn Manson之主唱形象。到2001年的专辑《Exciter》，他带领着乐团再度挺过风雨，并仍保有全美十大的行情与实力。
