有一则笑话，在诺亚方舟上，由于有太多的动物，船面临着沉入海中的危险，这个时候大家决定，每个动物讲个笑话，如果其他动物听了有任何一个没有笑，那么就将说笑话的动物送入大海。恐龙绞尽脑汁讲了个最好笑的笑话，大家都乐了，唯独猪没有笑，可怜的恐龙成了第一个牺牲品（这就是为什么恐龙灭绝的原因）。接下来凤凰上场了，说罢动物们无不捧腹，可是猪仍然没有笑，凤凰也因此被扔入大海。第三个动物是牛，讲了个拙劣的笑话，大家还在面面相觑的时候，猪哈哈大笑起来，大家问它为什么，猪说"刚才恐龙讲的真好笑！"


看似简单的笑话。谁都不愿意像恐龙这样和世界拜拜，因为太冤了，优秀的生命被一个愚笨的听众所结束，实在是造物弄人。


October Project正是故事里的这只恐龙，稍有不同的是，他比恐龙更凄惨--所有的动物都没有笑。在他们推出两张专辑之后，由于排名和销量欠佳，被东家Epic公司中止了合同，从此乐队解散。现在向大家推荐这张专辑应该不会再受到冷落了吧？和October Project的嗓音几乎完全一样的晚辈Nightwish已经得到了全世界乐迷的广泛追捧。October Project可能没有想到，这种空灵、磅礴、略带忧伤的歌喉运用在歌特上会如此成功。现在说什么也晚了，谁叫我们这些后知后觉的听众们不争气呢。不过，令人感到欣慰的是，2003年，这个组合重新站到一起，并出了他们的第三张专辑Different Eyes。希望老了十岁的他们能够魅力依旧。
