美国歌坛常青树罗丝玛丽•克鲁妮（Rosemary Clooney），从1945年起就在歌坛开始她的演唱生涯。她的歌声曾经风靡美国乐坛，她甜美、圆润的歌声，打动过成千上万的听众。在她1998年70岁生日之时出版的新专辑，声音依然圆润，显不出任何衰败的现象。 〈A Day in the Life of a Fool〉，是六十年代在坎城影展上綻放异彩，获得金棕榈奖的名作「黑色奧菲欧」（Black Orpheus）的主题曲，這首曲子是以「芭莎诺瓦」（Bossa Nova）風格写成，在当年随着电影的畅销，立刻就风靡了美国的爵士和流行乐界。
rosemary clooney已经于2001年在比佛利山庄她自己的寓所里去世了。
