看过《罪恶之城》或者《非常人贩 2》(transpoter 2)后，一定有许多人对Sin City预告片或者两部电影中一段反复出现的旋律恋恋不忘。

借着巨星联袂演出的《罪恶之城》（Sin City）电影的火爆登场，隆重推出The Servant这支有着低调作风和敏锐视角的英国电音摇滚乐队。
乐队的成名曲"Cells"此次作为电影主题曲推出，在短短的一分多钟的预告片中先声夺人。

The Servant善于用诡异的歌词和弦乐或电吉他噪音来制造颓丧的氛围。主唱Dan具有性感极具爆发力的嗓音，时而温柔动人，时而撕裂狂野。
The Servant的曲风乍听之下，其实跟去年大红的Maroon 5 / 魔力红乐团(我真想知道是谁把本来国内翻成"五号纸砲乐团"的Maroon 5改成这种鸟艺名的orz)颇为相似，都是那种热闹的Pop rock，而公仆乐团的主唱也像魔力红的主唱一般，具有非常性感又有爆发力的嗓音，可以一下温柔、一下又撕裂地吓人。不过与魔力红的歌曲意境有些不同的是，魔力红大多描写男女间的情爱纠缠，不是我爱的人不爱我，就是相爱的人总要分离，但是The Servant的歌词，看起来实在不像是一个pop rock乐团的创作，在"Jack the Ripper"里，"Jack the Ripper/Sent through time/To come to kill you"；"Cell"里则更加诡异，"My skin feels like orange peel/My organs move like a squirm of eels/We eat chinese off our knees/And look for each other in the TV screen"，而不止奇异的歌词，他们也喜欢利用弦乐或是电吉他噪音来製造诡譎或颓丧氛围，像是"Cells"或是"Orchestra"都是此类杰作！
